A’Dor Holistic Living Coaching

The goal of Holistic Living Coaching is to help create a path through difficulties, to achieve happiness for yourself and involves gaining control of your emotions and feelings, addressing behaviours and developing a clear plan to achieve a positive outcome.

By creating a plan and focusing on target areas, coaching can help deal with a difficult relationship, build self-esteem and confidence, a health problem such as weight or addiction.

It is also a valuable tool to help plan the next steps in life; be it a career move, developing a relationship or simply create space in your life to gain clarity and contentment.

Emotions are the motivating force behind everything that we do. They are affected by what we eat, what we do with our body, our thoughts and our beliefs; (about yourself, others and the world we live in).

A member of the A’dor team will act as your coach, guiding and supporting you through the creation of goals; the development of your plan to realise those goals; and the action steps needed to make them a reality.

Holistic Living Coaches are aware of three distinct stages in themselves and others that lead to successful sustained self -coaching practices. However, while these are common developmental phases towards a sustained self-coaching practice I do appreciate they are not set in concrete for everyone.

Phase 1: Crisis support

Phase 2: Willingness to resolve inner conflict & seeking practitioner help

Phase 3: Trusting the inner healer

For details on these three stages, you can download a pdf from the resources page.

Ask yourself what phase of self-help you are in? Are you in phase 1, 2 or 3? If you have not sought help for a crisis or you have not sought help for the next stage for personal development before then we recommend you contact a Holistic Living Coach and/or a practitioner who can assist you. By seeking additional support we mean from an accredited health practitioner such as a psychotherapist and/or kinesiologist. As we also acknowledged the mind/body connection you are encouraged to seek the guidance of a medical practitioner to check for signs of illness or depletion and from there more subtle mind-body conditions can be established from a naturopath and/or other similar accredited practitioners. Finally, body therapies such as massage and Yoga are highly recommended in the early stages of personal growth to assist with the process of mental health healing.

If you are diagnosed with a mental health issue your Holistic Living Counsellor will require you maintain clinical support in addition to the work they do with you.
