About A’dor
I’ve dedicated my life to working with people.
From an early age, I realised I had a passion for people; an appreciation of the many challenges we all face in life, and an ability to develop pathways of understanding that unlock working peace and well-being.
Formally trained as a teacher and family counsellor, with a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education, in the mid 1990’s I specialised in facilitating parenting groups and personal growth training for early childhood educators, parents and carers. This led me to develop life enhancement programs, incorporating the evidence-based practices I had experienced from my own growth and learnings, into an impactful and unique self-coaching tool kit.
I created my signature ‘7 Living Essentials’ philosophy for living well, the self-coaching kit embodying the key aspects for a balanced and enlightened life. It quickly became a hallmark for personal growth, embodying what I believe are the most effective processes, planning and experiences for living well, all supported by my formal training and my own life challenges.
Since then, over more than two decades I’ve developed a range of A’dor branded programs that have transformed participant’s lives across the globe. Many of these programs have benefited from the wisdom of other program leaders who have not only supported my growth but served as inspiration and springboards for these current practices.
Like many others, I sat on the edge of sadness and change, not knowing where to turn or even how to begin, but I’ve been blessed to have experienced through my engagement with others’ development programs the growth that has led to real and lasting emotional healing and expansion of my personal skills.
By repeatedly pushing beyond my own comfort zone, I’ve uncovered new dimensions of self, that has enabled me to deal with limiting beliefs, rescript my future and allow genuine spiritual healing, and move beyond the isolation that often occurs in our demanding western culture. I take all these experiences, and coupled with my formal training have applied these powerful learnings that have guided countless others over more than two decades.
I’ve been fortunate to meet and work with many talented and like-minded people from across Australasia and that has enabled me to extend the A’dor network and successfully help many, many people, throughout Australia and New Zealand and the world.
While personal self-development and empowerment continues to be such an important part of my life, my focus today is the crucial life stage of very young children and the empowerment of the inner child in adults.
I’ve taken that work further, engaging in early childhood advocacy as the Vice President of the Association of Graduates in Early Childhood Melbourne Graduate School Melbourne University, and as a recipient of the Scholarship for Leadership and Change, I’ve been involved in early childhood inclusion support and enjoy ongoing academic studies and research to develop this critical area.
Today I live a peaceful life with my family in rural Victoria on the edge of Melbourne and divide my time between the city and country, helping people from all walks of life.
I love the experiences I’ve created and the continued learnings that drive my passion. Please let me show you how A’dor can unlock the key to your growth.
